Entry Fee

Pre-registration: $350 per

Additional driver, vehicle $160 each

Pre-registration is highly recommended for efficiency at check-in and will be checked-in first

On-site day of Registration: $370 per

Fee includes state and local taxes. Applicable processing fees will be added at checkout.

If you must cancel....You must cancel your registration through your registration account.

No refunds or credits will be issued for cancelations made within 5 days of the event date.

Driver:

  • Must have a valid driver’s license for a minimum of 6mos.and present it at check-in

*Drivers 16-17 must have a parent or guardian present with them and sign a minor waiver

  • Must be “Solo” qualified through FATT or a recognized club/organization, or a competition driver with a current competition license

  • Helmets must be SA2015 or newer rating in good condition and MUST be worn during on-track activities

  • Shoes must be closed toe

Vehicle:

  • *Street legal production cars that are stock or have limited/basic bolt-on modifications  

  • Competition prepared cars 

  • No SUVs, Minivans, Trucks, Jeeps, Crossovers, Electric Vehicles or Hybrids 

  • The sound decibel limit for vehicles is 103.

  • The passenger’s seat must provide the same level of safety protection as the driver

    • This means both driver and passenger must have the same type (not model) of seat and belts

Hunt Valley Horsepower Track Days have been in the works for some time. I have been working with Travis Dixon from the SCCA to set the track days in motion. Please allow me to thank Travis for his dedication to this effort. Saturday, July 18 and Sunday, July 19 are the scheduled dates for the Shenandoah Circuit!

If you're a novice, first thing in the morning, there will be a ride-along (i.e. fast parade laps) on the track in the instructor's vehicle. This is an introduction to the track so there are less surprises for when you're behind the wheel. Then its off to the classroom and eventually, its back to the track. 

For every novice session, an instructor will be in your car and there will be multiple classrooms sessions to debrief. In debrief, the novice will learn new concepts, from vehicle dynamics to the meaning of the various track flags. When a participant demonstrates adequate competence, they may be signed off to run Solo.

One-day PDX or Club Trial:  $225
Two-day PDX or Club Trial:  $325

An “All You Can Eat” option - Entry into both an Advanced PDX group and Club Trial
