NOTICE for 6/14/25 GATHERING

On the morning and afternoon of June 14, as part of the No Kings protests that are taking place nationwide on this day, the protest in Hunt Valley will be forming at the entrance of Hunt Valley Towne Centre and lining Shawan Road from 10 AM to 2 PM. Today (6/13/25), this landed on my radar. Baltimore County Precinct 7, Assured Protection Security for Hunt Valley Towne Centre and I are all on the same page. Our weekly gathering will take place as usual. According to the protest website, if more space is needed for protestors, they'll line Shawan Road. As a result, in order to not have any misinterpretations, the usual cones and signage that announce the sidewalk closure will not be present.

BMWCCA has notified me that their scheduled 2nd Saturday of the month club gathering at HVH will proceed as scheduled. For the HVH community overall, nothing is expected to change. Two additional uniformed Precinct 7 units will be present.

With the expected wet roads and the potential for showers during our usual gathering time, our community won't be participating at full capacity. This won't be the first time when a protest overlapped with our gathering time. There have been zero issues in the past.
